Jessica Simpson Teams With Jones New York As a celebrity brand, I think Jessica Simpson appeals to a younger, hard working, somewhat in touch female consumer. Simpson is pretty and accessible, not so over the top that the average female consumer can't connect with her sense of style. Sexy mixed with a bit of innocence and playfuless. Certain on trend if not to a fault. It seems like a smart move on Jones New York part to appeal to a younger, yet somewhat concerned consumer. Fashion Markets News - WWD.com
